Welcome to McCormick Orthodontics.
How can we help you?

The first time you visit our office, we’ll start with a tour. We want you feel comfortable and welcome, so look around and make yourself at home. And please feel free to ask us any questions or voice your concerns.

Next, we’ll take a few pictures of your mouth. These diagnostic photos and digital low-radiation x-rays will help us determine the best approach for your individual treatment. They’ll also help us evaluate your general dental health and track your progress.

We’ll give you a complete examination, take measurements, and get all the information we need to prepare your treatment plan. If we decide to postpone treatment due to expected growth or other factors, your child will join our Growth & Guidance Program. Then we’ll schedule periodic checkups so treatment can begin at exactly the right time to coordinate with his or her growth patterns.

If you require orthodontic treatment, we’ll discuss the type of appliances you need, along with the cost and length of treatment. Our Treatment Coordinator will follow up to discuss all details related to fees, insurance, payment options, flex plans, scheduling, and answer any questions.

Meet Dr. Michaela McCormick as she explains what to expect at your first visit.

Regular Appointments

When you get your appliances (braces, expanders, etc.), please allow one to two hours. After that, you’ll typically see us every four to ten weeks for an assessment.

Regular appointments can be scheduled Monday through Thursday. General hours of operation are listed below, but call the office near you for a complete list of hours and appointments.

Monday – 9:30-6:30
Tuesday – 8:30-5
Wednesday – 8:30-5
Thursday – 7:30-4:30
Friday – Administration Hours Only – 9-1
Saturday – Closed

Cancellations

We make every effort to be on time for your appointment, and ask that you extend us the same courtesy. If you have an emergency and can’t keep your appointment, please call us immediately at 1-888-333-3757. Remember—most appointments are made four to ten weeks in advance, so rescheduling could extend your treatment time.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice and missed appointments are subject to a charge of $50. A missed appointment is defined as not showing up within 5 minutes of the scheduled appointment time, or not calling to reschedule/cancel within 24 hours of the start time.
